Memories...
Submitted by Brandie Malugin
One of the things I best remember about Daddy is they way he would tell a story. He was always able to make the story come to life and make you feel like you were right there with him when it all took place. Daddy's way with words and his sense of humor would immediately captivate anyone he spoke to. Listening to him tell me about the good old days and his big dreams is one thing I will dearly miss

Charles Ray's birth...
Will Stewart, Ray's grandfather, carried around 25 dollars in his jacket pocket until Charles Ray was born, it hung behind the door. He would pat his chest and say to Mary don't worry about it sister we have it taken care of. This was something that Will Stewart was proud to do for his daughter. Charles Ray Floied was born in the white house on Lowe Branch Rd on August 26, 1946 before you cross the last creek. The house still stands today. Ray always said this house is haunted.
